How did we get here?

The County Clerk’s website has been experiencing high usage volume. In order to better handle that volume, a planned software change was undertaken. During that change, an unexpected hardware issue occurred.

We are still in the process of implementing a long-term solution to that hardware issue. Until that happens, this temporary search system is designed to provide the public with full access to all official public records that are available online.

What are the plans for the future?

In Fall of 2016, the County Clerk’s Office will be releasing a Request for Proposals for a new Recording Software System. Part of that new Recording Software System will be a robust searchable system so that the public is able to search official public record documents online.

Additionally, the County Clerk is continuing work on a plan for the digitization of records that are not yet in digital format.
